Biology Unit 4 exam tomorrow..

Let’s hope there’s a beautiful 8 marker about photosynthesis or respiration and let’s hope also that the HSW questions aren’t the type that make me suicidal - is it really a tall order to want stuff that’s on the syllabus to come up on the paper?

Good luck everyone, I’m off to bed xx

i’ve drawn out the Nitrogen Cycle far too many times i don’t think i have a healthy relationship with it anymore i know too much about mutualistic N fixing bacteria and if it doesn’t come up on my exam on Friday i’m gonna cry

Can you share your daily routine? I am asking as I am wondering how you fit so muxh of studying in such a tight schedule.

I’m curious as to why you think I do ‘so much’ studying - at the moment I actually just get the bare minimum done (basically, my homework) and that’s pretty much it. I don’t really have time to do anything else… I only really revise and study when it comes to exam time and I’m preparing for an exam. But anyway, how I get all my homework done is, I try to do as much as possible in my free time at school instead of waiting until I get home. A lot of people waste their free time at school but I think it’s important to utilise it correctly - you end up with a lot more free time at home (so you can waste it on Tumblr). Oh also, it’s important to spend only the required time on a set piece of work. Previously when I used to struggle with work load it was because I was spending too long on stuff that didn’t need it. Identify what you need to do to get whatever grade you need, and just do that. And when you do something, put your laptop/phone away and just GET ON WITH IT. It’ll be done so much quicker.

So much work to do, so little motivation

Revised, went on the treadmill, watched Prison Break, showered

Bed time now, methinks. GUYS WISH ME LUCK FOR MY C3 EXAM TOMORROW. If the questions aren’t straight forward I will literally burst into tears in the exam hall, just sayin’

isnt core an easier version of math?

Excuse me? ‘Core Maths’ exams are A-Level modules.

C3 revision is killing me.

AS French exam over!

That technology essay question was a GOD SEND. So unbelievably happy about that! Perfect perfect perfect. Couple of the reading/listening questions were a bit dodgy (how the hell is “traditional French lunches are disappearing” a reason for obesity?) but apart from that, relatively easy really, and the Cloze Sentences were a breeze ;) omg only one exam left! I have three weeks to absolutely smash C3 which is fine really! I am in such a good mood, the weather is perfect, my exams are nearly over, and next week I’m going with my family to spend the weekend at a B&B by the seaside :’) loving life!

Edit: I just figured out that obesity thing! It means they’re having more fast food. I think. I mean to me it didn’t make sense cos I figured traditional French lunches were like 4 courses and they ate loads but… I guess it’s all healthy nutritious food? Ah well.

Argh D1

Just had it. I think I messed up the Critical Path Analysis because even though I got 3 to be the lower bound for number of workers when I tried to schedule them I couldn’t make it less than 4 :( so so annoying. Rest of the paper was fine thoughhh, and I loved the last question!

Right, time for some chillaxin’ before I started revising Chemistry. I think an episode of Friends and a baked potato are in order, wooooooooooooop.

Ohhh wow.

Just watched House, I was not expecting that ending at all… I was literally staring at the screen like :O WTF. As if there’s only next week left, it’s so sad, I’m gonna miss it so much :|

PS. Had my Chemistry exam and it was okay. Sigh. One down, six to go.

It’s nearly 11pm and I have an exam tomorrow so I’m off to bed, wahhhh

I cannot believe I slept for 15 hours last night.

6pm - 9am. New record for me! At least I’ve caught up on a week’s worth of lost sleep, I feel pretty great actually. Can’t believe my exams start on Tuesday though. Guess I’ll be revising D1 and Chem Unit 1 this weekend then, which isn’t bad at all to be fair. Happily sitting in bed drinking coffee, surfin’ da net and listening to The Honey Trees. It’s lovely moments like this that make me put things into perspective and just chill out. :) Will start revising soon though I promise

science puns amuse me faaar too much

okay I feel like I’ve been successful today in terms of chemistry revision! so now to go for a run, watch Friends then get ready for bed. determined to wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and happy and ready for four periods of maths… okay I don’t think I’ll ever be ready for four periods of maths but I’m definitely aiming for refreshed and happy. woop.

Never thought I’d say this

But I am so sick of French revision.
