I am so lucky oh my God I can’t believe this just happened to me. That was an AMAZING show. Thanks John and Hank!!! I’m sorry I yelped “I love you” at you both, hahahaha, I got so nervous for some reason, thanks for signing my ticket!
Does anybody know where I can download any of John Green’s books online? (without getting a virus or having to pay someone money)
Don’t do that! If you can’t buy the books go to the library. Authors deserve to get money for their work. I recommend you do go to a library though because John Green’s work is so, so worth reading. All of his books are incredible, they really are. Good luck!
i’ve gotten to that point in my chemistry studying where i had a dream last night that i had a poster that said "my thoughts are carbon chains i can’t fathom into benzene rings"
i have no words for this
I know, it’s beautiful! I love it :)
MY SIGNED JOHN GREEN POSTER ARRIVED OH MY GOD I’M SO HAPPY I’M TOUCHING SOMETHING THAT HE TOUCHED I’M SO EXCITED IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL
Me: And then there’s one of my favourites: “My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.”
Him: I’ll fathom them for you. I’ll make them into constellations. I don’t care that stars are made of plasma, I’ll die moving the stars for you. So just let me know if you ever want constellations. And I’ll be here. Always.
So, I joined my school’s book club yesterday which was so wonderful! I didn’t even realise so many people were into reading and, GUESS WHAT, I introduced them to John Green, and I was describing Looking for Alaska, and the teacher was like, oh well you’ve certainly sold him to me, I’m going to buy it and we might make it our first book club read! Then she said we should make posters to put around school recommending it to other people and I was getting super super excited aaah then I told her about Hank and vlogbrothers and it was basically just amazing.
SO HAPPY that they ship to the UK! I also thought the ‘no one can catch the mother fucking fox’ one was so so so cool, my best friend and I have always loved that bit from Looking for Alaska, but I highly doubt my parents would have been happy with that on my bedroom wall :P I’m so happy! Not even the prospect of having to finish a 5000 word project this weekend is getting me down. Also I only one lesson tomorrow and it’s French woohooooo
The Fault In Our Stars, Farenheit 451, To Kill A Mockingbird and Pride and Prejudice are probably my top four right now. Harry Potter pretty much defined my childhood though.
